Antacids Part 2

On the last post, I explained the typical medical protocol for heartburn sufferers. To review: a heartburn complaint is quickly met with an antacid prescription of some kind.

As I stated last post, a compromised stomach lining is the problem, NOT stomach acidity. In fact, there are 2 NECESSARY sequences that MUST OCCUR in the digestive system. These 2 sequences ONLY occur when the stomach has enough acid.

They are:

1. Initiation of protein digestion
2. Initiation of mineral absorption

When the stomach acid is INTENTIONALLY lowered by these medications,
your body starves for appropriate protein digestion and mineral absorption.

The complications of antacids are staggering. Gallstones, Constipation, Irritability are only a few of the direct problems caused by antacid medications.
